Summer 2021: In-person Tweens & Teens (10-15yrs)*

June 21 - August 20

  • We offer a 2-day program: Tuesday and/or Wednesday.  (Fridays we further cultivate relationships and is a partnered effort with Houston Homeschoolers for Social Change)

  • Daily multiple offerings & Self-Directed Exploration time. 

  • Time: 10 am - 3 pm for Tuesday & Wednesday

Single or both days options available to meet your budget or for other considerations.  This program is modeled after

Liberated Learners' Northstar and Agile Learning Centers

​

  • Program Limited to 10 Interested & Curious Explorers

(*Younger siblings, 8+ yrs. old welcome, if space available)

We deliver interest-based offerings, based on kids interests and votes/ interest.  Here is a sampling of our spring semester.

 

The summer semester commitment is simply on a weekly basis, to allow for travel plans and chill time.

Our COVID-19 requirements:

  • Outdoor Masks are Not Required when physical distancing from Others

​​

  • Indoor spaces: Masks are required along with physical distancing

​​

  • Weekly Covid-19 form submission is required for participation

  • If you possibly feel unwell, Please Stay Home!

​

The in-person program is held in generous outdoor and

indoor spaces. 

​

Masks are required indoors at all times.

 

We are requesting all families participating in large-scale events (weddings, professional stadium games, airport travel, etc.)

wait 7 days after such an event to join us on-site again.​​

Are your needs met by available forms of schooling: traditional, alternative, curriculum schooling at home, or unschooling? 

If so, we are truly happy you found your tribe and rhythm. 

 

On the other hand...Is your tween longing for an in-person peer connection?  Would you, or they, also enjoy exploring some interest-based content?  If so, consider joining our part-time community for connection and cooperative learning in a compassionately-minded, self-directed environment.

 

We are a hybrid of Agile Learning Centers and Liberated Learners models.
